As a senior marketer with over 30 years’ multi-channel experience, I have significant proven success working in senior client and agency roles across a wide range of dynamic, fast-paced, demanding, commercial and challenging B2B, B2C & D2C product and service organisations from smaller to global scale.

As an experienced Portfolio Marketing Director, I have worked with The Marketing Centre for a number of years as one of their valued part-time Marketing Directors for a wide range, type and size of B2B and B2C companies, including the global creative software company Affinity for over 2 years.

 

I can also work directly with and support a wide range of clients and marketing requirements, working together in a range of ways that suit you and your needs, including; contract, freelance, set days / month, project basis, marketing strategic and delivery advice, and or NED roles, on site (UK), WFH and hybrid.

 

My sector experience is extensive and includes, although is not limited to; technology, software, apps, telecoms, cyber security, retail, education, property, construction and professional services. I have worked within or with small to large UK and international private and public-sector organisations,in commercial, results-focused marketing roles, developing small to large teams, plans and budgets.

 

My breadth and depth of experience has given me an ability to quickly understand and immerse myself within a new business, reviewing, identifying, and developing effective, results-based multi-channel marketing, enhancing existing and developing new marketing plans and deliverables. I have significant proven success in reviewing, identifying, developing and enhancing all aspects of teams and resources, both internally and externally with agencies, suppliers and partners.

 

As an experienced, highly skilled senior marketer, I have been described as “having a unique blend of ideas, strategy, development and delivery”, I quickly “get it” - whether it’s an organisation, project, problem, challenges or marketing team focussed, and I drive responses, solutions and results at pace.

 

The senior marketing support, advice, experience and tangible value I can add is wide-ranging and includes although is not limited to; devising wide-ranging multi-channel marketing strategies, implementing well-planned marketing campaigns, project or programme scope and mobilisation, selecting, briefing and managing external providers and agencies. I can work directly with your team, your agencies, partners, be an “extension of your marketing team” (a statement often used by agencies although I have experience of this working well on both the agency and client side), and be your key point of contact and expert advice and ideas for all aspects of marketing.
